1/2 cup all-purpose flour  

2 tablespoons light-brown sugar  

1/4 teaspoon salt  

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon  

3 tablespoons cold butter, diced  



In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Using your fingers, crumble mixture until pea-size crumbs form. Use immediately.
