Charming tulip-shaped sandwiches are perfect for a springtime tea.

3 tablespoons minced black olives
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
24 thin slices cucumber
12 very thin bread slices
Garnish: parsley leaves
• In the work bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade,
combine ham, olives, mayonnaise, parsley, and mustard. Pulse
until mixture is well combined but still has texture. Set aside.
• Using a (2- to 2½-inch) tulip-shaped cutter*, cut 2 tulip shapes
from each slice of bread.
• Place cucumber slices on serving platter. Top each slice with 1
tablespoon ham salad mixture. Top each with a bread tulip.
• Garnish with parsley leaves, if desired.
