Stuffed Daylilies

Stuffed Daylilies Recipe

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces goat cheese, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh minced parsley
1 tablespoon fresh minced chives
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
30 daylilies

• In small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, goat cheese, garlic,
parsley, chives, cayenne pepper, and black pepper, stirring
to mix well.
• Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
• To prepare daylilies for stuffing, snip anthers and pistils with
scissors. Rinse gently, and allow to dry.
• Transfer cheese mixture to a pastry bag fitted with a large star
tip. Pipe cheese mixture into center of daylilies. Serve immediately,
or refrigerate for a few hours.
