Ginger Tea Crème Fraîche Recipe

1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons buttermilk
2 bags ginger tea*

• Combine cream, buttermilk, and tea bags in a glass jar with a
tight-fitting lid, and seal jar. Let stand at room temperature
(68° to 72°) until thickened, 8 to 24 hours. Stir well, and refrigerate.
Use within 10 days.

*For testing purposes, we used Pearl Fine Teas Ginger Lemon Tea,

Note: Remaining crème fraîche can be used as a thickener for soups
and sauces or spooned over fresh fruit, puddings, and cobbler.
