Candy-coated waffle bowls serve up a mixture of fresh fruits drizzled with cardamom-scented syrup.

10 waffle bowls*
1/2 (24-ounce) package vanilla-flavored candy coating, melted
2 cups fresh pineapple cubes (from 1 pineapple)
2 cups cantaloupe balls (from 1 small cantaloupe)
2 cups watermelon balls (from 1 small watermelon)
2 cups honeydew balls (from 1 small honeydew melon)
1 recipe Spiced Syrup
Garnish: fresh mint and ground pistachios
• Dip the edges of the waffle bowls into the melted candy coating.
Set bowls right side up on parchment paper to dry.
• In a large mixing bowl, combine the pineapple, cantaloupe,
watermelon, and honeydew. Toss gently. Pour ½ cup of Spiced
Syrup over fruit, and toss gently to combine.
• Spoon the fruit mixture into the prepared waffle bowls. Garnish
with fresh mint and ground pistachios, if desired. Serve
