½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
¼ cup confectioners’ sugar
1½ teaspoons fresh lemon zest
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon coarse salt


• In the work bowl of a food processor, combine butter, cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, zest, juice, and salt, pulsing until mixture is well blended and smooth, approximately 2 minutes.
• Refrigerate until needed.
