Of all colors, pink may be the most charming. Long associated with sweet little girls and inherently tied to romance and love, pink is a cheerful, happy color, and it makes a perfect backdrop for a midsummer afternoon tea.
Usually we host get-togethers for specific reasons—perhaps a holiday or a milestone. But we tend to forget that sometimes the most enjoyable parties are the ones given for no reason at all. It’s refreshing to pull out the good china, invite your friends and neighbors to your home, and take time to just enjoy the company of others surrounded by beautiful flowers, sparkling crystal, and a cup of fragrant tea.
Don’t hesitate to mix patterns, both china and crystal, for a custom look. And remember that pinks of all shades blended together create a lovely blush. From deep rose to bright bubblegum to the hue of a timeworn seashell, pink is perfect for a winsome tablescape.
