Easy-to-make, yet scrumptious, these Boursin-cheese tea sandwiches on white and pumpernickel breads are ideal for the holidays.

1 (16-ounce) loaf sliced pumpernickel bread
½ cup butter, softened
1 (5.2-ounce) package herb Boursin cheese
• Trim crusts from white and pumpernickel bread slices. Using
a 1-inch Christmas-tree cutter, cut out centers of half of white
slices and half of pumpernickel slices, reserving the cutouts.
• Gently press the pumpernickel-tree cutouts into the white bread
slices and the white trees into the pumpernickel slices.
• In a medium bowl, combine butter and Boursin. Mix until
smooth. Spread a small amount of cheese mixture onto bread
slices with centers intact. Top with bread with Christmas trees.
