Let’s Spice Things Up

Spices are among the most ancient ingredients in the kitchen. Once considered rare and precious, spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and star anise are readily available today at spice shops and grocery stores. And during the holiday season, they add warmth and flavor to sweet and savory dishes alike.

Here are some of our favorite spicy recipes for the holidays. All are easy to make, and all make great last-minute gifts.

Holiday TeaTeaTime’s very own Holiday Tea uses only five ingredients and makes a delightful cup for sipping or giving.
