This tisane recipe is from Josie’s grandmother’s grimoire. If you drink a cup of it before bed, by the light of a full moon or a pink candle, you will dream of your true love. (Note that the rose and orange should be unsprayed. Dry your own orange peel by simply leaving organic peels on a small plate in a warm place.)
Ingredients
1 large pinch of dried rose petals or five drops of culinary grade rose water
1 heaping tsp chamomile buds
1 twist of dried orange peel
wildflower honey (optional)
Instructions
For one cup, steep all of the ingredients in freshly boiled water for five minutes.
Once steeped and strained, add a teaspoon of wildflower honey.
Sip the tisane slowly, imagining summer mornings, kitten bellies, and stolen kisses.
