Toffee Caramel Sauce
Serves: 1⅓ cups
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, stir together brown sugar, butter, and cream over medium-high heat until butter melts and mixture is well combined. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and boil gently until mixture thickens, stirring constantly, approximately 8 minutes. Use immediately.
