The Midwest Tea Festival is the first event dedicated to tea in the Midwest region. Drawing over 1000 guests from all 50 states, this centrally located celebration of tea and tea cultures is a unique event in a town full of fun food and beverage events. Two days are filled with lectures, expert-led classes, tons of tea to taste and shop for and this year for the first time, a tea party for kids and a demonstration of a Buddhist tea ceremony! Come visit us in Kansas City for the weekend of September 7 & 8, stop by the nationally acclaimed World War I Museum or the Nelson Atkins Art Museum, have some great food (not just barbecue!) and spend time at the tea festival learning about and drinking tea!
