March/April 2021 Issue Preview

Through the Years
Call it serendipity, if you like, or perhaps divine providence, but the idea for TeaTime was born, fittingly, over afternoon tea between Barbara Cockerham, the magazine’s first editor, and Phyllis Hoffman DePiano, Hoffman Media Founder and Chairman of the Board, in Chicago at the historic Drake Hotel. Cockerham recalls, “the relaxed atmosphere, the piping hot tea, and the bite-sized foods captured our imaginations, and we discussed a ‘what if’ scenario centered on adding a magazine for tea afficionados to the company’s holdings.” Take a look back at TeaTime’s first 99 issues since its inception in Fall 2003.

  1. In the March/April 2021 issue, there is a recipe for Mini Lemon Bundt Cakes (p. 59). It indicates in the ingredients “Lemon Glaze (recipe follows)”. Unfortunately, I do not see a Lemon Glaze recipe anywhere. Could you please provide that recipe so that I can attempt to recreate those lovely mini lemon bundt cakes? Thank you.
