With consumer interest in organic teas on the rise, a few of the tea gardens of Assam are opting to use natural methods of pest and weed control. Inderjit Uberoi, manager of Belseri Tea Estate from 2013 until 2018, was introduced to organic tea–cultivation practices at Gossainbarie Estate.
