There’s something about a table set for tea with blue and white china. It exudes a cheerfulness that we at TeaTime find particularly appealing. Perhaps that’s why we have featured this color scheme in our magazine many times.

Of course, the star of any tea table is the teapot. Here are some of our favorite blue and white teapots from the pages of TeaTime. Which one is your favorite?

Clockwise, from upper left, Johnson Brothers Devon Cottage teapot; Spode Blue Italian teapot with matching warming stand; Sadler is one of the many companies who have made Blue Willow teapots; Herend Chinese Bouquet teapot; Royal Worcester Regency Blue teapot; and Mottahedeh
Imperial Blue teapot.

  1. I have many tea pots, several blue and white as well. I use my Spoke Blue Italian probably more than the other blue and white tea pots because I have a few accompanying serving pieces, including dinner and salad plates so it makes such an impressive table setting when I use all the pieces for a tea luncheon.
