Over the past three decades, François-Xavier’s hands-on tactic has allowed him to taste and discover unique teas and rare pluckings often completely unknown in the West. These opportunities inspired him to become a tea sommelier, allowing him to share his expertise with others and provide the best products for Palais des Thés. In 1991, the company decided to expand distribution beyond France and started selling to Japan, which served as the launching pad for the company’s expansion to sell globally. Now an expert tea sommelier, François-Xavier and his team at Palais des Thés continue to offer first-rate teas to customers in more than 25 countries, including the United States.
