Set a beautiful table to honor women affected by breast cancer.
A pink ribbon has come to symbolize breast cancer, a disease that touches the lives of many women around the globe. This October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, honor breast cancer survivors and their families by hosting an elegant pink tea for friends, or support a local or national organization by holding a community-wide fund-raiser. We hope these pink-theme table settings will inspire you to celebrate these brave and inspiring women.
Pink and gold: Pale pink china edged with gold (Lenox Caribbee) is a sophisticated way to honor breast-cancer survivors at an exquisite afternoon tea. Fold lace-edged napkins in an appealing shape to best display their gorgeous pattern. Gold-lettered place cards tied with a pretty pink ribbon are perfect at the head of each guest’s place setting. The modern yet refined teapot and teacups perfectly suit this stylish tablesetting.
Pink and white: For those who don’t have pink china, various patterns of white china make a pretty contrast to a baby-pink tablecloth and napkins. Above, we’ve paired Royal Crown Derby Elizabeth Gold place settings with a Wedgwood Petal teapot. Pink roses in amber-colored bottles are lovely place cards for guests.
Pink and silver: Above, a lavish flower arrangement of pink and white roses sets the celebratory mood for this Breast Cancer Tea. Silver chargers set off elegant Marchesa by Lenox Spring Lark china in soft shades of pink and gray. That color scheme is echoed in the gray-and-white paisley tablecloth and napkins and silver napkin rings.

Your shish kebab look amazing. I will have to try those! I was worried about the eggs becoming tough and rubbery too, after all that cooking. But the texture was just fine and they picked up a lovely, subtle hint of tea.
