Former herb farmer Lin Jackman (left) named her tearoom after the botanical name for the tea plant, Camellia sinensis. When guests enter Camellia’s Sin, they are greeted by a wall of hats and invited to choose their favorite chapeau for tea. You can have tea indoors or outdoors in the tearoom’s beautiful gardens. “I truly believe that you eat with your eyes first,” says Lin Jackman. At Camellia’s Sin, the presentation is every bit as delicious as the fare. The tearoom’s scones, made from a “secret recipe,” are a customer favorite.
