  2. We have just closed our beautiful B & B (CIRCA 1896) here in the Shenandoah Valley, Va. Many guests and friends asked if we have ever thought about hosting “tea parties.” I took a look around and realized just how God has blessed us! Surrounded by the awesome Shenandoah Valley, as well as our own beautiful home & country English gardens, I thought, why not! Beautiful home. beautiful surrounding and the opportunity to share this all with others, let’s do it!
This is how I became aware of “Tea Time” magazine. I’m sure there will be plenty of other tools I’ll need and that’s fine.
    So….here I go!

    Thank you Tea Time!

  3. I am very English, born and bred in Warwickshire until the age of 47 when I met and married an American gentleman. Now living in Upstate New York at the Adirondack Foothills, I return home once or twice a year and obviously am very much in love with England and all it’s beauty. Your magazine is so lovely, a delightful picture of all things tea with all the traditions. Thank you.

  8. You took me back to summer of 1967 with the article on tea in the Cotswolds. My husband and I traveled by freighter from Montreal, CA to Swansea (Mumbles Pier), Wales. After a few days we took the ferry to .We traveled by local street buses from town to town and stayed in B&B’s. If we liked a town, we stayed several days. If not, we quickly moved on. We had many days in Stratford since Don was a Shakespeare professor. As part of our local wanderings, we took short journeys to lovely little towns in the Cotswolds. While I don’t recall any of the particular tearooms featured in this article, I do remember some of the towns and one that you did not mention–Chipping Camden. I still remember sitting in that seat in front of the window daydreaming about our newly discovered pregnancy. Our daughter is now 50 years old and much has happened. She, and our younger son, will vouch for the influence of our summer-long trip. Our regular afternoon teatime and my collection of tea sets is a part of our legacy to our family.
