Patrons can get their to-order hot teas to go in 16- or 20-ounce cups, while iced teas for the road are available in 20- and 24-ounce sizes from the several “daily brews” on offer. But those not in a big hurry can sit awhile and savor a 16-ounce personal-size pot of tea or a 40-ounce “party pot,” which is enough to serve four to six people and certainly ideal for a tea party, as the name indicates. Although Tealuxe doesn’t offer the traditional three-course afternoon tea, locally made crumpets, scones, tea breads, muffins, and cookies are delivered to its stores daily.
Customers also enjoy creative twists on favorite teas. Chaider, available from September through June, features cinnamon chai tea steeped in apple cider. Black Milk Tea, steeped with Keemun, can be enjoyed hot or iced. Decadent tea-infused hot chocolates are among the many beverages that hit the spot during cold weather, while frozen options, like fruity tisane-blend Hannahberry, are especially refreshing during the summer months.
