Only 45 minutes southeast of San Francisco, California, the picturesque village of Pleasanton is just the place you want to explore on a sunny California weekend. And no place could be more inviting than Lisa Binzoni’s English Rose Tea Room. A longtime local resident, Lisa completed her TEA 101 training in 2004 and soon set about creating her tea sanctuary that offers more than 100 teas and a variety of tea services. The lovely decor creates a perfect setting for guests to relax and enjoy their afternoon tea. The English Rose Tea Room is open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with teatimes at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. While reservations are recommended, walk-ins are welcome upon availability.

  1. Great tearooms. You must check out Josephine’s in Godfrey, IL. You will love it. Not only excellent food, great atmosphere, but room after room of shopping for clothes and the home. We love it!   2. My granddaughter and I had a weekend tea retreat at several tea shops .in Southern California. We went to the Rose Tree Tea Cottage and also Paris In A Cup. The experience was really very nice. We attended another which was also quite enjoyable. It was the Huntington Library and Museum which has a wonderful tea room.
