Golden Yunnan Black
Yunnan Province in China is home to many notable teas, including Puerh, a fermented dark tea. Also made from the large-leaf assamica varietal, its black teas, too, are highly acclaimed, especially ones that feature large amounts of downy leaf buds, which take on a golden hue as the tea oxidizes. These “tippy” teas are rich with notes of raisins, plums, spice, and maple syrup.
