  1. I love this magazine!! My mother would take me to afternoon tea for my birthday each year. My friends and cousins would also come along. . My mother bought me a magazine at the tea shop, it happened to be Teatime’s first issue. She ordered a subscription for me so that I would receive it throughout the year. In years to come she would order a two year subscription. I always looked so forward to receiving my Teatime magazine. As soon as it arrives, I make a cup of tea and sit in my favorite spot and read it cover to cover. My mom passed away in 2008. Prior to her passing she renewed my subscription for 2 years and each magazine that arrived after her death meant so much to me. It was like big hug from her. Once my subscription expired I continued to renew it. At this point I have a full set! I often go back and look at prior issues. Also, I often served Afternoon Tea at my home for my mother, friends and cousins and still do. I prepare the recipes from Teatime.! They have told me that my Afternoon Tea is the best!

  2. What a lovely story!!!
My daughter and 2 year old granddaughter and I regularly have tea parties at home. We get out all the fine china that I and my mother and grandmother have collected and set the table. Each piece has a story. This is such a fun occasion! I
I treasure my Tea Time magazines as well that I make sure “your hands are clean before you look at them” . They never leave the house in case they get lost! They are an inspiration to me. The last mother’s day issue they featured “Memory Lane” on the cover. That was the last china set my mother collected. She passed away 3 years ago and I was so pleased to see her china on the cover. I know she is in heaven having “her cuppa”.
