1. Dundee Biscuits, also known as Scottish oat cakes, are as easy to make as traditional biscuits.

Kitchen Tip: For scones or biscuits with flaky layers, cut in butter or shortening and flour, using a pastry blender. If you don’t have one on hand, try using two butter knives, crisscrossing them in a gentle sawing motion until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
